The biggest news from Week 7 was obviously the Georgia Bulldogs losing to the South Carolina Gamecocks 20-17.

Analysts around the country had Georgia in contention for the College Football Playoff, and while all hope isn’t lost, the margin for error is. Georgia will have to be perfect from here on out, including the SEC Championship Game over either Alabama or LSU.

The Bulldogs have issues on both sides of the ball they have to fix immediately.

Paul Finebaum joined SportsCenter Sunday morning to update his top four teams. With Georgia losing, the Bulldogs fell out of his top four. The SEC Network analyst moved Clemson up following UGA’s shocking loss.

Last week, Finebaum also said if LSU can beat Florida, the Tigers have a claim for No. 1; however, he had LSU ranked No. 3.

Below is Finebaum’s updated top four after Week 7:

1. Ohio State Buckeyes: “My No. 1 is Ohio State. They didn’t play this week, but they have a lot of important games left like Michigan and Wisconsin and Penn State.”
2. Alabama Crimson Tide: “Alabama is just rolling along. Nobody wants to pay much attention, but they are certainly in contention for No. 1.”
3. LSU Tigers: “Yeah, it’s still LSU, although they made a case for No. 1. They’ll make that case again on November 9 (against Alabama).”
4. Clemson Tigers: “It’s Clemson – they’re back. I was impressed with what they did coming back after criticism. Trevor (Lawrence) looked like he was back. So, Clemson, even though people think they’re at No. 1 or No. 2, I have them at No. 4.”
