The preseason Coaches Poll is out, and it features a number of SEC teams in the top 25, as expected.

To the surprise of no one, the Alabama Crimson Tide took the No. 1 spot in the poll. Nick Saban’s squad enters the year as the favorite to win the national title.

The top 5 is rounded out by Ohio State, Georgia, Clemson and Notre Dame. In addition to Alabama (No. 1) and Georgia (No. 3), 4 other SEC teams crack the top 25 — Texas A&M (No. 7), Kentucky (No. 21), Arkansas (No. 23) and Ole Miss (No. 24).

In the “receiving votes” section, Tennessee, LSU, Auburn, Mississippi State, Florida and South Carolina are all mentioned.
