Rivalry Week photo: Nick Saban's statue disrespected by Tennessee flag
It case you were unaware, it is officially Alabama-Tennessee week.
The game will be the first significant matchup between the two hated rivals in some time, as Saturday marks the first meeting of the schools as ranked foes since 2005. Last season, Tennessee nearly upset the Tide on the road but came up just short in a 19-14 defeat in Tuscaloosa.
In anticipation for this weekend’s big game in Knoxville, this photo of Nick Saban’s statue holding the Tennessee flag has been posted online:
Who had the unmitigated gall to do this? This is pure and unadulterated disrespect. ? pic.twitter.com/SidYgwYzx6

Now that’s some series disrespect right there. Alabama is currently on a nine-game winning streak against Tennessee and Saban’s career head coaching record against the Vols is 11-1.
Saban recently admitted the game his players are most looking forward to this season was the Tennessee contest. Is it really wise for Tennessee fans to poke the bear heading into the game? We’ll find out soon enough.
