As the 2020 college football season gets closer, SEC Network analyst Cole Cubelic is naming his top offensive linemen in the conference.

Cubelic names a top 5 for each position on the line. The former Auburn offensive lineman continued Friday with his top 5 offensive tackles.

Leatherwood is no surprise at No. 1 as the Alabama standout was sure NFL Draft pick had he opted to forego his remaining eligibility with the Crimson Tide. Leatherwood is followed by a pair of Kentucky Wildcats as well as Texas A&M’s Carson Green and Tennessee’s Wanya Morris.

SEC fans shouldn’t feel too bad if they’re not familiar with Kentucky’s Darian Kinnard as Cubelic’s own graphic mistakenly refers to him as “Darrin” Kinnard. The Cats have the tall task of replacing Lynn Bowden, but with two of the conference’s top tackles on the offensive line (Kinnard, Landon Young), Mark Stoops’ troops will be well-situated for battles in the trenches.

Morris earned Freshman All-SEC recognition last season with the Vols. Green is coming off a 13-start junior season.
