SEC Network’s field-level broadcast with Tom Hart, Jordan Rodgers and Cole Cubelic draws strong reviews from fans

The SEC Network Saturday Night crew of Tom Hart, Jordan Rodgers and Cole Cubelic tried something a little different for the Week 12 matchup between Ole Miss and Arkansas in Fayetteville.
Instead of having Hart and Rodgers in the broadcast booth with Cubelic on the sidelines, all 3 of them were at field level for the Hogs’ blowout win over the Rebels.
So, what did fans think of the unique broadcast setup? Well, it’s safe to say there was plenty of reaction. Some loved it, some hated it.
Here was a sampling of some of the reaction on both sides to the SEC Network broadcast:
Really enjoyed the format @SECNetwork had last night for Ole Miss-Arkansas game.@colecubelic & the gang actually talked real football & handled the blowout really well.
Also, facts don’t care about your feelings.

Does SEC Network broadcast always have this setup? I’ve enjoyed the guys just walking around ground level.

The SEC network has the biggest bozos on the Old Miss-Arkansas broadcast….the sideline guys sitting on the benches disrupting the teams need to get in another profession…unprofessional

The @SECNetwork and @tom_hart, @colecubelic and @JRodgers11 put on an absolutely disgraceful showing of commentary tonight. Some of the most unprofessional stuff I’ve ever seen and they think it’s cute.

It’s clear this was a love it or hate it kind of broadcast. We’ll see if the SEC Saturday Night crew tries this unique setup again next season at any point.
