Well, the ACC is claiming bragging rights after going 3-1 in head-to-head rivalry matchups last Saturday.

Clemson beat South Carolina, Florida State beat Florida and Louisville beat Kentucky. The SEC’s lone victory was a less-than-impressive 13-7 triumph by Georgia over Georgia Tech in Mark Richt’s final game with the Bulldogs.

Though the results against the ACC were deceptive — Kentucky and South Carolina are two of the SEC’s worst teams — it was a strange season for the SEC.

Florida, Vanderbilt and Missouri had ridiculously bad offenses at the end of the season. Entering the preseason, Alabama, Ole Miss, Arkansas and Tennessee are arguably the best SEC teams, though slow starts by the Razorbacks and Volunteers prevented them from reaching the Top 25.

Here’s how SEC teams stack up with the ACC entering the postseason:

CHAMPIONS

Here are the teams with a real shot at not only making the playoffs, but have a chance to win it all. Though Clemson is unbeaten, Alabama is the favorite to win the national title.
