Will Hall has one of the best Southern accents in college football, and his players know it, and apparently love it.

The Southern Miss coach admits to everything about his accent, and how it comes across, and he’s OK with it, and shared that sentiment with Taylor Curet, the Sports Director at WDAM in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

“They won’t do it around me as much, I don’t know why, because I think it’s funny,” he said. “I know I talk country. I know I’m overly energetic.”

He has a veritable buffet of sayings:

“We’re hear to life the Hattiesburg and surrounding area up,” he said.

How his players say it: “What we’re trying to do here is just bring people up and build the culture.”

“I think we’re well on our way to bringing back the Nasty Bunch,” he said.

How his players say it: “And that’s what I want to bring Southern Miss back, that Nasty Bunch.”

And there were plenty of comments about QB Ty Keyes:

“I thought Ty Keyes had an unbelievable day,” he said.

How his players say it: “Ty Keyes can really sling it, man you know what I mean.”
