While there is plenty of uncertainty still surrounding the 2020 college football season, sportsbooks continue to update their futures odds for the season. Recently, William Hill shared updated odds for who will win the Heisman Trophy.

If the top three favorites end up going to New York City, Kirby Smart’s Georgia football program will be a central storyline. Former Bulldogs QB Justin Fields leads the way at +350 (bet $100 to win $350). Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence is second at +400 with new UGA quarterback Jamie Newman in third place at +1000. Newman left Wake Forest as a grad transfer to join the Dawgs in 2020 with immediate eligibility.

The other SEC players on the list of William Hill odds shared by the Cover 3 Podcast are Alabama QB Mac Jones (+2200) and LSU QB Myles Brennan (+2800).

Fields, who received an immediate eligibility waiver in his first season at Ohio State, finished fourth in the 2019 Heisman Trophy voting with 643 points, coming in behind LSU’s Joe Burrow (2,608 points), Oklahoma QB Jalen Hurts (762 points) and Buckeyes DE Chase Young (747 points).
