Texas Tech QB Alan Bowman suffers scary lung injury in loss to West Virginia
The Texas Tech Red Raiders lost to the West Virginia Mountaineers on Saturday, and they may have suffered another big loss, too.
That’s because QB Alan Bowman had to leave the game with an injury, and it appears that injury was significant.
As you can see in the video below, Bowman got sandwiched by a pair of West Virginia defenders after a pass attempt:

According to coach Kliff Kingsbury, Bowman suffered a partially collapsed lung on the play:

Obviously, that’s quite a severe injury, and we hope Bowman will be able to recover quickly.
After getting banged up earlier this year against Ole Miss, this is the latest in what has been a rough season for the Texas Tech quarterback.
