Travis Perry is beginning to narrow down his recruitment.

On Monday, the 4-star guard announced he is down to 5 programs. His list includes a trio of SEC schools in Kentucky, Alabama and Ole Miss. Perry is also still considering Cincinnati and Western Kentucky.

Per Joe Tipton, Perry will announce his commitment this coming Sunday at 3 p.m. ET:

Perry is a Kentucky native, which could give the Wildcats an edge in his recruitment. He attends Lyon County High School in Eddyville, Kentucky.

Perry is one of the top point guard prospects in the country for the class of 2024. He’s the No. 76 overall player and the No. 6 point guard in this class, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 1 prospect from the state of Kentucky.

He’s listed at 6-foot-2, 170 pounds. Perry took an official visit to Lexington back in October.

Kentucky currently has commitments from two prospects in the class of 2024: 5-star guard Boogie Fland and 4-star center Somto Cyril. The class ranks No. 21 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
