The Ohio State University will be replacing its head coach Urban Meyer.
According to multiple reports citing releases from the school, Meyer will retire as the Buckeyes’ head coach following the Rose Bowl game against Washington. Offensive coordinator Ryan Day will take over the head coaching job. Meyer is forced to retire due to a cyst in his brain that has grown in recent years and caused him regular headaches.

Ohio State has scheduled a 2:00 p.m. news conference.
Meyer finishes 82-9 during his seven-year career at Ohio State, including 7-0 against Michigan and three Big Ten titles.
If you’ll remember, Meyer stepped down at Florida in a similar manner. He’ll finish his career with a 186-32 overall record with stops at Bowling Green, Utah, Florida and Ohio State.
Meyer won three national championships in 2006, 2008 and 2014.
