This is an incredible story for Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers.

In a video from ESPN, Swinney helps tell the awesome story of Clemson team manager David Saville. Saville, who has Down’s syndrome, originally came to Clemson as a part of the school’s “LIFE” program. Upon meeting Swinney, Saville told the head coach of the Tigers that he would be working for him and the team.

In the end, Swinney said he could not turn down Saville and his desire to work with the football team. The video touches on Swinney’s playing years at Alabama under Gene Stallings and Swinney’s connection to John Mark Stallings, Gene’s son who also had special needs and was constantly around the Alabama football program.

It is a heartwarming story, and Saville said he tries to live by one of Swinney’s quotes:

“The only disability in life is a bad attitude,” said Saville.

Swinney also says that he is incredibly impressed by Saville’s love for people and his ability to change lives without even trying.
