Injury concerns are part of every college football game, but usually referees don’t have to worry about leaving the game on a cart.

On the D’Andre Swift touchdown run that put Georgia up 31-12 over Tennessee, one referee appeared to injure his Achille’s badly (likely tearing it as the CBS broadcasters suggest) making the call to signal touchdown. The main cameras did not catch it, but the CBS pylon cam captured what happened.

The ref ended up leaving the game in a cart. We certainly hope for the best, but judging from the video, it doesn’t look good.
