It’s that time of year: Wonderlic scores are making news.

Bob McGinn of pay outlet The Athletic shared Wonderlic scores for numerous class of 2020 NFL Draft prospects. Jordan Heck of the non-paywalled Sporting News shared the QB prospect scores from McGinn’s article:

  • Nate Stanley: 40
  • Jake Fromm: 35
  • Joe Burrow: 34
  • Jake Luton: 29
  • Jordan Love: 27
  • Justin Herbert: 25
  • Anthony Gordon: 25
  • Brian Lewerke: 25
  • Jacob Eason: 23
  • James Morgan: 23
  • Jalen Hurts: 18

McGinn’s article states Tagovailoa scored a 13, which is being widely shared on social media (and is the number mentioned in the Sporting News article). SEC Network analyst Laura Rutledge shares that Tagovailoa scored a 13 in the spring of 2018 at Alabama, but took it again at this year’s NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis and scored a 19.

Here’s how Wikipedia defines the Wonderlic test:

The Wonderlic Personnel Test is a popular group intelligence test used to assess the aptitude of prospective employees for learning and problem-solving in a range of occupations. The Wonderlic is available in 12 different languages and is often used in college, entry level jobs, and team-making efforts. It consists of 50 multiple choice questions to be answered in 12 minutes.

While rival fans will enjoy zinging Tagovailoa over having the lowest QB score, it sounds like it’s not his biggest concern as far as his NFL future.
