Dabo Swinney gets blasted for sticking with DJ Uiagalelei despite woeful effort against South Carolina

Dabo Swinney stuck with his quarterback, and was blasted for it in a loss to South Carolina.
DJ Uiagalelei struggled throughout the game, and started 7-for-24, and then after South Carolina took a lead, the Clemson quarterback threw 4 straight incompletions as the offense couldn’t find any rhythm.
Swinney faced plenty of backlash throughout the game from Clemson fans and media and other fans wondering why he continued to stick with Uiagalelei.
Uiagalelei has struggled before, such as against Syracuse, but Swinney throughout this season has stuck with the quarterback amid questions from fans and media.

Dabo’s love for DJ is a love like no other

DJ Uiagalelei is just not good. It’s incredible Dabo hasn’t moved to Klubnik

Dabo Swinney needs to grow some balls and look DJ Uiagalelei in the eyes and tell him “you suck” and put Cade Klubnik in the game

Dabo needs to “take some ownership” for these comments about DJ pic.twitter.com/uNtWvG5T2O

Dabo choosing to stick with DJ over Klubnik all season really calls into question Dabo’s “elite coach” label imo

Dabo sacrificed this team due to his loyalty to DJ

DJ should never touch the field again. Just wasn’t meant for the job. Not mentally strong enough and now it cost us the rivalry streak. Wake tf up Dabo… #Clemson
