Here's a complete tour of South Carolina's $50 million football facilities
New South Carolina coach Shane Beamer is inheriting a beautiful set of facilities.
Here’s a complete tour from South Carolina director of on-campus recruiting Jessica Jackson:
The best football facility in the nation? Yup!

The Gamecocks originally opened this $50 million facility in 2019. It includes a state-of-the-art locker room, weight room, player’s lounge, music studio, training room, multiple practice fields and a lot more.
The tour also includes a quick conversation with Beamer, who took over this job back in December. He previously served as an assistant coach at Oklahoma and Georgia.
With prospects being unable to take official visits due to the pandemic, this video will serve as an excellent recruiting tool for the Gamecocks. These facilities should stack up favorably to just about any school in the country.
South Carolina should be wrapping up its 2021 recruiting class today. According to 247Sports Composite rankings, the Gamecocks currently have the No. 94 class in the country — but Beamer and his staff will be looking to vastly improve that ranking during their first full cycle in 2022.
It’s like Chuck E. Cheese meets a Movie Theater, and I don’t mean that in a demeaning way. Who didn’t like hanging out at Chuck E. Cheese or a Movie Theater complex back in the day?
Do you guys have a facility vid? I’d like to see it.
The new South End Zone Facility vid is probably still on YouTube, it’s super cool. The current Indoor facility doesn’t have a vid that I know of but there’s probably one out there somewhere. The new Indoor facility Mizzou is building probably will. I’m sure they will use other teams vids for ideas.
#nolanarenadoohyeah!
@Rooster South Carolina has better facilities than Mizzou by far. Your indoor facility is far beyond the one they have planned.
Wow, all this for the 9th or 10th-best SEC program (depending on if Tennessee ever comes “back.”).
COVID benefactors for recruiting are blue bloods no doubt. Glad we made the vid to showcase our facilities. It’s impressive.
I’m impressed…good move SC. This all goes back to Surrier wondering why SC only had 1 million dollar donor instead of 30 like most sec teams have. He made it happen by embarrassing the alumni. Ya gotta like the guy 8-)
Spurrier
9th or 10th in the SEC, but still number 1 in Athens.
Come on Bill you know that ain’t gonna last much longer. Enjoy while you can though, and BTW, you keep forgetting we own the Willy B as do a lot of others.
Good hearing from ya though! Enjoy the offseason of smack talk.
You and a lot of other teams sicem, good get with Gunnar.
Yeah, Bill’s good at anonymously running his mouth and ignoring how irrelevant he and his chickens are.
The irony coming from an Army fan, I see you are still taking L’s and coming back for more. In your best year and our worst we still get picked for a bowl game and you don’t.
Yup, I’m just here to give you a feeling you’re actually superior to someone since e Rhine you play owns you.
*Everyone you play
52-2-19
And all of the that shiny new stuff gets you 2 wins. When we were going 11-2 and ranked 4th in the country we didn’t have any of that “stuff”. We had great SEC/NFL caliber players.
Great new facilities SC. Kentucky also just recently built a new football operations complex. Georgia and Florida are in the process of completing theirs. Auburn will be starting construction this month on their new football performance center. Of course Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, and Tennessee have great ones. Mizzou just built one. That will leave Ole Miss, Miss. State, Arkansas, and Vandy. I’m not sure Vandy will ever upgrade, but they need to.
Who cares,Everybody has great facilities now…it’s the expected norm. The ONLY thing that matters is getting the players Alabama gets anything less than that you are just playing for fun.
Yes, but auburn seems to think we have the best coaches to go along with the facilities.
Big fancy facility and no trophy room. LOL
Most universities have a building or at least a floor devoted to trophies.
Not one inch of space dedicated to crystal. Go figure
But hey, there is a metal gamehen outside willy brice near the porta potties. One would think there would be spurs on the coots mascot, but I guess they went gender neutral.
LOL. South Carolina is now, has been in the past, and will continue into the future as the laughingstock of the SEC
you can’t make this stuff up.
your friend,
Butch
When your god Saban leaves you will only be talking about what it used to be.
It’s not an Alabama fan.
I actually think “It” is a TN fan posing. The comments get worse when bad things happen to TN.
YOU ARE SO ARGENT THAT YOU DON’T KNOW THAT WE DON’T HAVE PORTA POTTIES ANYMORE AND THE LAST TIME WE PLAYED YALL,YOU WERE #1,BUT YOU DIDN’T LEAVE AS #1 AFTER THAT BUTT WHIPPEN! ASK SABEN HE REMEMBERS!
I would have gone with higher ceilings and more natural lighting. Looks like a gloomy cave.
Bill, thanks for the comment. Any university that names an athletic building “Buttsmear”clearly has class and taste. But then again if you tried to reverse the names you would still come out on the wrong end…”MearButts”?
You don’t think it looks dark and dank? My impression of the video is that it was underwhelming, but glad you are happy with it.
Lol, no I don’t.
RoosterC Georgia has a fantastic football complex, but the name you said has me rolling on the floor. LOL!
Do recruits meet Jessica first? Maybe think about rolling her out there first before some assistant coach.
Well done. State of the art facilities. And expensive too.
Yeah, Bill’s good at anonymously running his mouth and ignoring how irrelevant he and his chickens are.
