Mayo Bowl Bath: Shane Beamer gets dumped with mayonnaise after USC beat UNC

The Duke’s Mayo Bowl bath did not disappoint, and Shane Beamer wore it well.
Leading into Thursday’s bowl game, everyone was tuned in to seeing whether Beamer or Mack Brown was going to emerge victorious, and therefore, wear a mayo bath.
The South Carolina Gamecocks defeated the North Carolina Tar Heels 38-21, and because of it — and due to $10,000 to a charity of his choice, Beamer got doused with mayonnaise.

South Carolina and Beamer have really created some nice momentum heading into the offseason. Beamer’s program steadily improved throughout the season, and thanks to a nice incoming recruiting class, including OU transfer quarterback Spencer Rattler, hopes are high for Beamer and company to make some noise in 2022.
