South Carolina analyst Nick Coleman has been named the quarterbacks coach and offensive recruiting coordinator at Alabama-Birmingham.

Coleman will be taking the job under head coach Trent Dilfer, who is getting his first head coaching experience at the college level at UAB.

Coleman was the former offensive coordinator of Murray State and making a stop at Tennessee Tech as pass-game coordinator in 2017. At Murray State, Coleman helped quarterback Drew Anderson to the NFL, where he would go on to play for the Arizona Cardinals.

Coleman had spent 2 years in Columbia before accepting the job under Dilfer.
