South Carolina responds to viral f-bomb video of Will Muschamp
Yes. That viral video of Will Muschamp circulating around social media on Saturday afternoon was real.
Before South Carolina’s season opener against Tennessee, a NSFW outtake clip was leaked on Twitter of Muschamp emphatically stating it was time for football, while also dropping the f-word. It turns out it wasn’t doctored and the clip was filmed two years ago as a joke and was never intended to be let out, a South Carolina spokesperson confirmed to the media, including David Cloninger of The Post and Courier.
South Carolina is also not sure how the video got released. Muschamp was clearly in a joking mood in the video, though, as he flashes a grin at the end of the 5-second clip.
It will be interesting to see what Muschamp has to say about the video, as he’s likely going to be asked about it when he speaks to the media after Saturday’s game.
The Gamecocks are set to open the 2020 season against No. 16 Tennessee on Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium at 7:30 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
