In a reaction that was likely duplicated in living rooms of South Carolina fans everywhere, coach Will Muschamp didn’t hold back immediately after the Gamecocks survived a last-second comeback attempt against Tennessee to win, 15-9.

Muschamp, who coached Florida from 2011-14, improved to 4-0 against coach Butch Jones, and 6-0 against the Vols overall. In the latest win, Muschamp danced off the sideline as players, coaches and towels were let loose.

South Carolina on the season is now 5-2 and 3-2 in the SEC. The Gamecocks have a bye week next week before they play Vanderbilt.

The Gamecocks won on the strength of three field goals from Parker White, and the goal-line stand that triggered Muschamp’s reaction. It also extended Tennessee’s streak without a touchdown to 10 quarters.

After a slow start offensively, South Carolina scored on its final three drives, punctuated with a 16-play, 72-yard drive that gave it the lead.
