The South Carolina rushing attack got a new member ahead of fall camp, as Clemson graduate transfer RB Tavien Feaster committed to the Gamecocks.

Now that coach Will Muschamp has gotten his first look at Feaster, he commented on the new rusher on Tuesday.

As you can see below, he explained why Feaster was late to practice and added that he’s enjoyed having Feaster in Columbia so far:

“He’s been good,” Muschamp said. “He’s got an infected tooth. That’s why he was late for practice. I’m sure there’s been some wonderful internet rumors about that. … He’s a hard worker. A talented young man and we’re excited he’s here.”

Feaster is competing with seniors Rico Dowdle, A.J. Turner and Mon Denson for the starting job this fall.
