Dillon Gabriel is a true veteran of college football and an electric distributor at quarterback. Now, he’s going down as an all-time record holder in FBS!

The former QB for UCF and Oklahoma is now at Oregon in his final year of eligibility. Gabriel is a true Heisman contender for the No. 1 team in the country, and he’s dishing out more touchdowns for the Ducks Saturday night.

Facing Maryland, Gabriel added his first touchdown of the night via a 9-yard pass to Terrance Ferguson ahead of halftime. That touchdown gave Gabriel 178 total touchdowns accounted for in his career, tying former Houston QB Case Keenum for the all-time record.

At the midway mark of the 3rd quarter, Gabriel would break that tie and set the all-time mark with his 179th score. This time, it was a bit of trickery with a lofted 3-yard touchdown pass to offensive lineman Gernorris Wilson for the record.

Gabriel’s career began with 3 years at UCF where he would account for 70 touchdowns and over 8,000 yards passing. After an injury-shortened campaign in 2021, Gabriel transferred to Oklahoma for 2 seasons.

While with the Sooners, Gabriel grew even further with over 6,800 yards and 55 touchdowns. That included a 2023 season with Gabriel leading the Big 12 in completion percentage, passing yards and passing touchdowns.

This season, Gabriel entered Week 11 with an FBS-best 74.8% completion percentage and a Big Ten-leading 2,665 yards and tied for the B1G lead with 19 touchdowns.
