Kirk Herbstreit shared his thoughts on Miami’s football program and he didn’t hold back.

The ESPN analyst pointed out that Miami’s student have to drive 45 minutes to Miami’s games, which are held in the The Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. The University of Miami is in Coral Gables, Fla. Herbstreit also criticized Miami’s athletic department for not being on “the same page”.

“You have an athletic department that has clearly shown they aren’t ready to make changes,” Herbstreit said during the College GameDay broadcast.

Herbstreit also said it doesn’t matter who the head coach is as long as the program is dysfunctional. The Hurricanes are currently coached by Manny Diaz, who is in his third season in the eye of the storm as head coach.

Miami is 1-2 this season with lopsided losses to Alabama and Michigan State. Miami hosts Central Connecticut at 12:30 on Saturday.
