College GameDay is heading to Bryan-College Station for Saturday’s showdown between No. 7 Notre Dame and No. 20 Texas A&M. The traveling pregame show is turning to an Aggie legend as celebrity guest picker.

GameDay revealed Thursday via social media that Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel will be back on campus, joining the crew as Saturday’s celebrity guest picker.

“Aggieland, we need you guys loud and crazy, as we have Notre Dame coming to town,” Manziel said in a video message. “Really looking forward to it, checking something off the bucket list this week. Can’t wait! Gig ’em!”

Saturday’s show will be the second College GameDay of the 2024 season. The show went to Dublin, Ireland last week for the Week 0 clash between No. 10 Florida State and Georgia Tech. Sheamus of WWE fame, last week’s celebrity guest picker, was the only one at the GameDay desk to correctly pick Georgia Tech to upset FSU.

Rece Davis returns as the host of College GameDay. Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, Desmond Howard and Pat McAfee return as analysts. Corso did not make the trip to Ireland, but is set to be back for the Week 1 show in College Station.

The 2024 season is Nick Saban’s first as a College GameDay cast member. Saban made his GameDay debut in Dublin. The former head coach has also contributed to ESPN and the SEC Network covering the 2024 NFL Draft and SEC Media Days.

College football insider Pete Thamel, reporters Jen Lada and Jess Sims, and college football betting analyst ‘Stanford Steve’ Coughlin will also be in College Station for Saturday’s GameDay.

Saturday’s top-25 showdown between Notre Dame and Texas A&M is set for a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff, airing on ABC.
