We all knew Texas A&M had to back up the cash truck to lure Jimbo Fisher to College Station but we now know the details of just how badly the Aggies wanted the former Florida State coach.

Following the signing of his Texas A&M contract, which occurred on Tuesday, Fisher’s deal has been released by the school. SDS has acquired the contract and has broken the highlights of the 14-page document.

Here are the details that immediately stood out to us:

Annual Compensation: $500,000

Supplemental Compensation: $7,000,000

Additional Benefits: Use of two luxury vehicles, club membership to the club of Fisher’s choosing in Brazos County, Texas.

Possible Incentives: $50,000 for winning SEC Coach of the Year; $100,000 for winning the West division; $150,000 for having an APR score higher than 965; $200,000 for winning the SEC Championship; $100,000 for bowl game outside of the New Year’s Six, $200,000 for a New Year’s Six bowl appearance, $300,000 for College Football Playoff appearance, $500,000 for College Football Playoff title game appearance, $1,000,000 for winning the National Championship.

Note on Incentives: If any achievements are vacated due to violation by Fisher or his staff (lack of institutional control), Fisher would be responsible for paying back the bonus incentives he received for those achievements.

Termination Without Cause: Texas A&M agrees to pay Fisher liquidated damages in an amount equal to the total compensation that would have been paid to Fisher for the remaining term of the agreement.

Termination With Cause: All obligations of Texas A&M to make further payments or provide any further consideration shall cease as of the date of termination.

If Fisher terminates the deal: The parties agree that Fisher may terminate his deal without cause prior to its expiration by giving written notice of the termination of the agreement to the school. In such event, Fisher will have no financial obligation to Texas A&M, except for earned but unpaid compensation or other amounts due under this contract.
