The College Football Playoff committee went with chalk and it cost Texas A&M a spot in the final four.

While that decision may be bad enough, Aggie fans had to listen to ESPN’s college football analysts disrespect Texas A&M’s resume during the College Football Playoff selection show.

If you missed it, the ESPN analysts were quick to point out Texas A&M’s schedule didn’t match up to others, including the note that the Aggies had only beaten two teams with a winning record. Of course, with every SEC team playing just SEC competition this season, losses were naturally going to rack up for some programs.

That’s something that Mike Elko certainly didn’t appreciate.

Check out what the Texas A&M defensive coordinator had to say following the Playoff reveal:

Texas A&M finished the regular season with an 8-1 record after playing a nine-game SEC-only schedule. The Aggies finished second in the SEC West, with their only loss coming on the road at No. 1 Alabama.

Texas A&M finished No. 5 in the College Football Playoff rankings.
