Greg McElroy has been making predictions all throughout the college football season, and that isn’t changing in Week 13. The No. 15 Texas A&M Aggies hit the road to take on Auburn in a classic “trap” game. The Aggies host Texas next week in a game that could have major implications in both the SEC race as well as the College Football Playoff standings.
F0r that game next weekend to be so important, the Aggies need to take care of business at Auburn. However, the former Alabama quarterback and current ESPN analyst is going with the home team in an upset in this game.
“I think Auburn is going to get this game,” McElroy said. “I’m not saying (the Aggies) are looking ahead, I’m just saying it would be human nature if they were. Looking at this game, I think it is a terrible spot for A&M.
“I think this has a chance of being a game that is circled on Senior Day for Auburn. I think you are going to get Auburn’s best shot, and I don’t think Auburn’s record is reflective of how they’re playing. I think they play well this weekend and knock off the Aggies at Jordan-Hare Stadium.”
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET and the game will be aired on ESPN.
