Jimbo Fisher praises 5-star freshman WR Demond Demas after first practices
The Texas A&M Aggies have a couple of openings at wide receiver after Kendrick Rogers and Quartney Davis left early for the NFL.
One of those spots could be filled by 5-star freshman Demond Demas, who was the No. 3 receiver in the class of 2020, per the 247Sports composite rankings.
On Saturday, coach Jimbo Fisher praised the freshman receiver, saying he’s done well at his first couple of practices:
Coach Fisher: Demon Demas is very intelligent and he's had a couple of good practices so far. I expect him to complete [to play]. It's all up to him but he's been very coachable and has really flashed it.

Fisher isn’t ruling out having Demas get some playing time this fall. If he lives up to his 5-star ranking, he’ll be tough to keep out of the lineup.
Can Demas make an impact early in his freshman season? We’ll find out starting next month.
