We could soon see Les Miles in Texas A&M gear.

No, the former LSU coach hasn’t joined Jimbo Fisher’s staff in College Station but his son Ben announced on Sunday that he plans to continue his college career with the Aggies. Ben Miles was a three-star fullback in the 2017 recruiting cycle and redshirted his first season on campus. He signed with Nebraska coming out of high school but announced his transfer following the Cornhuskers’ hiring of Scott Frost.

This move is the latest in a series of moves by A&M that could potentially needle the Tigers. It’s long been rumored that LSU coveted Jimbo Fisher and soon after the Aggies hired the former Florida State coach, he went after LSU defensive coordinator Dave Aranda. While that effort was in vain, the Aggies have hired former LSU GM Austin Thomas this offseason.

Ben Miles announced the move with the following statement on Twitter:

Miles will have to sit out the 2018 season due to NCAA transfer rules then will have three years left to play in College Station for Fisher. It will be interested to see if his father visits College Station come the fall, especially on Nov. 24 when LSU comes to town.
