Kevin Sumlin was sent a racist, derogatory letter after Texas A&M blew a 44-10 lead and lost to the UCLA Bruins in Week 1.

Now Sumlin’s wife Charlene, who originally posted the hate mail sent to the A&M coach, has responded to the letter Sunday, after posting pictures of the inflammatory letter Thursday.

She mentions that Kevin wanted her to hold the response until after the Aggies finished playing their Week 2 matchup against Nicholls State, which they only won 24-14.

In the post, Charlene praised her local law enforcement, friends, family and others for helping their family through the last couple of days through the tumultuous times. You can see her full response below:

Sumlin is intent on pressing charges if the police are able to apprehend the person responsible for sending the hateful threat.
