Texas A&M has lost another recruit following the hire of Jimbo Fisher.

Luring Fisher away from Florida State to takeover as head coach of the Aggies is a big win for the program, but a few recruits have decommitted in the wake of the decision. Four-star safety Leon O’Neal Jr. announced his decision to decommit on Friday, and three-star QB Cade Fortin also made the decision to decommit Monday evening.

Recruits changing commitments in the wake of a coaching change is not uncommon, but the losses could still be significant for the Aggies.

Fortin is listed by the composite rankings at 247 Sports as the 19th overall pro-style QB and 50th player from the state of Georgia for the class of 2018. He is an intriguing prospect who has also received offers from Ole Miss, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt.
