Texas A&M bolstered its 2021 recruiting class with the commitment from Shadrach Banks Jr. of Houston, Texas.

Banks reportedly has 31 offers, including SEC schools like Georgia, Alabama, Oklahoma and LSU. Banks, who is 6-feet tall and 207 pounds is the Aggies second commitment for this class. He’s ranked the 10th-best recruit in Texas in his class, according to the 247 Sports Composite. He’s also ranked the No. 5 athlete in this class in the country. Listed as an athlete and receiver, it’s unclear what his position will be in college.

The Houston Chronicle reported that Banks as a sophomore last season finished with 1,312 yards recovering and 17 touchdowns. In the 6A title game, he had nine catches for 179 yards and two touchdowns.
