The Aggies won’t have the services of Nick Harvey this spring as the defensive back announced he plans to leave College Station in order play his final season at another program.

Harvey started his career on the field for the Aggies his first three seasons but redshirted last season after having offseason knee surgery. He started 12 games for the team in 2016 and played in every game for the Aggies in 2014 and 2015. He plans to utilize the graduate transfer rule and become eligible immediately next season.

A former U.S. Army All-American in 2014, Harvey was the nation’s No. 7 cornerback prospect coming out of high school.
