Texas A&M has a chance to end its regular season on a high note when it hosts No. 7 LSU on Saturday night.

The Aggies have won two straight games after previously losing back-to-back games to Mississippi State and Auburn.

On Monday, Texas A&M quarterback Kellen Mond discussed the upcoming matchup against the Tigers, including what the Aggies need to do to upset them.

“It’s going to be a big week for us to prepare, we’ve got to go in there playing with a lot of confidence and focus and play our game,” Mond told the media. “It’s going to be a fun game to play in Kyle Field.”

Mond shouldn’t have much trouble playing with confidence, as he feels he is hitting his stride late in the season. The Aggies’ quarterback has passed for 2,680 yards and 17 touchdowns in 2018.

“I feel like I’ve found my rhythm and just playing with a lot of confidence right now,” Mond told the media. “I’m playing relaxed, and a lot of that is my preparation and a lot of that is just how everybody else is playing around me.”

The Aggies and Tigers are set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
