Former Tennessee QB Joshua Dobbs was picked No. 135 overall by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fourth round of the NFL Draft on Saturday.

Interestingly, Dak Prescott was the No. 135 overall pick to the Dallas Cowboys last year.

Dobbs was one of the most intelligent football players in the country during his Tennessee career, and now, he turns his attention to becoming an NFL quarterback.

Dobbs finished his Tennessee career with a 23-12 overall record, including 3-0 in bowl games. He set Tennessee records for career rushing yards by a quarterback (2,160), career rushing touchdowns by a QB (32), single-season rushing yards by a QB (831 in 2016) and single-season rushing touchdowns by a QB (12 in 2016).

Dobbs has plenty of athleticism, and he was looked as a player similar to Dak Prescott entering the NFL Draft.

The NFL is a different animal, but we don’t know anyone that won’t be rooting for Dobbs in the NFL. Dobbs is a former 4-star prospect from Alpharetta, Georgia.
