With the Early Signing Period nearly upon us, Tennessee’s defensive back board has just been shuffled a bit as one of the nation’s top junior college defensive backs has just announced he has decommitment from Jeremy Pruitt’s program.

Hutchinson Community College product Art Green originally committed to Tennessee back in May but the nation’s No. 4 JUCO cornerback just announced his recruitment is “100% back open” on Monday. 247Sports Composite Rankings list Green as a four-star recruit.

Green shared the news on Twitter.

Following this news, Tennessee’s 2020 recruiting class is down to 18 overall prospects but the class remains among the best 25 in the nation at this time.

With Green no longer committed, Tennessee’s 2020 recruiting class is down to just two defensive backs. While that is less than ideal, the defensive backs committed to Tennessee, Keshawn Lawrence and Mordecai McDaniel, are both four-star prospects.

The upcoming Early Signing Period begins on December 18, 2019.
