Dalton Knecht had another huge game in Tennessee’s 85-66 win over Florida on Tuesday evening.

Knecht scored 39 points on 13-of-23 shooting in the win. He made 4-of-6 3-point attempts and drained all 9 of his shots from the free throw line. This is Knecht’s second consecutive 30+ point game. He scored 36 in a road win over Georgia over the weekend.

When Knecht is scoring like this, Tennessee will be tough to beat. He appears to be fully out of his mid-season slump, which saw him shoot just 32.4% from the field over a 5-game span from Dec. 12 through Jan. 6.

Jonas Aidoo also had a big game in this win over the Gators. He scored 19 points and had a team-high 10 rebounds. He was also impactful on the defensive end of the floor, registering a pair of blocks and 1 steal.

Tennessee will now prepare for perhaps its biggest game of the season to-date: a meeting with Alabama on Saturday in Knoxville. While the Crimson Tide aren’t ranked in the top-25 this week, they are currently the No. 7 team in the country according to KenPom. Tennessee has not faced a top-10 team in KenPom’s rankings since it faced North Carolina on Nov. 29.

Tip-off is at 2:00 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon.
