Deion Sanders continues to work hard to improve his Jackson State program.

The latest addition to the Jackson State program comes with SEC experience as Tennessee defender Nyles Gaddy announced his decision to leave Jeremy Pruitt’s program for Sanders’ program.

Gaddy announced the news on Saturday.

It’s important to note, however, that Gaddy was a walk-on in Knoxville. Based on his transfer statement, he will be on scholarship at Jackson State.

“After two+ years, it hurts me to announce I’ll be transferring from the University of Tennessee. I want to thank Coach Patrick Abernathy for the help, he was for me, getting me in and helping me in recruiting.

“I want to thank Coach Rocker for all coaching and in recruiting me. I want to thank Coach Rumph for all the coaching he gave me, life talks and advice. I want to thank Coach Fitzgerald for the coaching, realness and advice. I want to thank Coach AJ for the help he was for me also. I got nothing but love for my teammates still, always forever. I’ll be accepting my offer and committing to Jackson State University.”

During his two seasons in Knoxville, Gaddy appeared in just one game and did not register any stats.
