Flipping Frogs: Tennessee lands Mississippi QB who was committed to TCU

Jimmy Holiday was a TCU commit in August, but on the first day of the Early Signing Period, the Tennessee staff flipped him to Knoxville as he signed with the Vols.
Holiday is a 3-star dual threat quarterback from Madison, Mississippi (Madison Central), who reportedly considered Ole Miss and Tennessee along with TCU. Holiday is the No. 46 athlete in the country and the No. 24 player in Mississippi, according to 247Sports.
Holiday was a quarterback in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star game, and reportedly chose Tennessee over Ole Miss following the coaching change with the Rebels. Rivals reported “that the possibility of playing wide receiver at TCU instead of quarterback caused doubts. Tennessee has assured him he will have every shot possible to play quarterback in Knoxville and that leads me to think Holiday flips to the Vols.”
