Tennessee is sticking with Jarrett Guarantano at quarterback for Saturday’s game at Arkansas.

“Jarrett will be the starter,” Pruitt said in his Wednesday press conference, per Trey Wallace. “He understands our expectations. I felt like he’s had another good week.”

The decision comes after Pruitt discussed on the weekly SEC media teleconference earlier Wednesday how both Guarantano and highly-touted freshman Harrison Bailey performed in recent practices.

In five games, Guarantano is 83-of-135 passing for 914 yards, 6 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. Barry Odom’s Arkansas defense is allowing only 6.1 yards per attempt, which ranks No. 1 in the SEC.

Saturday’s game is set for a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff, airing on the SEC Network.
