At this point, Jon Gruden has to be trolling us all.

During a recent radio interview with 710AM ESPN Seattle, Gruden joined hosts Mike Salk and Brock Huard to discuss the upcoming Atlanta-Seattle Monday Night Football game but before he could get into the NFL game, the much-discussed free agent coach made a reference to Knoxville and the school’s unofficial song “Rocky Top” with Huard set to call this weekend’s Tennessee-LSU game.

While that’s not that unusual, if you listen to the full segment below, the hosts make it clear that Gruden requested not to be asked about any speculation regarding the Tennessee job. Of course, Gruden is currently the betting favorite to land the job and has been reportedly speaking to coaches and administrators about assembling a staff on Rocky Top.

So why would Gruden request not to be asked about Tennessee, only to immediately bring it up himself?
