Apparently, Papa John’s feud with the NFL has taken its toll on one of the company’s most-famous investors.

Former Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning had invested in 31 Denver-area Papa John’s stores during his time in the Mile High city, but that relationship has come to an end.

According to 247Sports, Manning has sold his stake of the restaurants, which would seem to indicate that he’s no longer involved with the company:

Manning has appeared in commercials with Papa John in the past, but that relationship seems to be over. Papa John’s is also no longer involved with the NFL, as the league has switched to Pizza Hut as its official pizza sponsor.

Now, we’ll have to see if Manning gets involved with Pizza Hut, or if he’s done with the pizza game altogether.
