Earlier today, it was reported that Tennessee would be heading to Nashville for the Music City Bowl.

ESPN’s Brett McMurphy reported that the Volunteers will be playing Nebraska, which makes for an intriguing matchup. The Cornhuskers finished 9-3 in the Big Ten.

The Vols last played in the Music City Bowl against North Carolina in 2010 and lost 30-27 in double overtime.
The Music City Bowl will be played at 2:30 p.m. on December 30 at Nissan Stadium.
