Tennessee baseball unveils new home run celebration prop for 2022 season
Tennessee’s first runs of the 2022 college baseball season came off the bat of Trey Lipscomb, who hit a 2-run homer. Lipscomb not only put the Volunteers up 2-0 on Georgia Southern, but he also got to be the first player to show off UT’s new home run prop. Tennessee batters who hit dingers will sport a fur coat, in addition to the Daddy hat, after crossing home plate.

#Vols 3B Trey Lipscomb is the first one to wear the Daddy hat this season after a two-run shot in the bottom of the fourth.
He was also greeted with what appeared to be a Joe Namath-esque coat with cheetah print (?)

As if the ‘daddy’ hat wasn’t good enough, the #Vols have added a cheetah-print fur coat to go along with the home-run celebrations. 🤣🔥 pic.twitter.com/Y9Q9caHK7m
