Tennessee was blanked by Vanderbilt in the first half on Saturday, and things didn’t get much better for the Vols.
The Vols lost to the Commodores, 38-13, and fans quickly took to Twitter to voice their displeasure.
And many Tennessee fans had the same target — offensive coordinator Tyson Helton. After a rough showing by the offense, there were plenty of Vols fans who don’t want to see Helton back on Jeremy Pruitt’s coaching staff next season:
Send Tyson Helton packing…. tonight

I hope the Tennessee bus stops to get gas somewhere along I-40 tonight and Tyson Helton gets out to use the bathroom and they leave him

Friendly reminder that Tennessee pays Tyson Helton $1,200,000 to be their offensive coordinator.

I’m officially OUT on Tyson Helton and I’m not sure about my stance on Pruitt

If Tyson Helton isn’t fired by next week then somethings wrong

I wish Pruitt would leave Tyson Helton in Nashville tonight and call Kilff Kingsbury or Hugh Freeze on the ride home.

Give a 12 year old playing Madden $1.2 million dollars a year and he'll call a better game than Tyson Helton

Who does Pruitt hire to replace Tyson Helton as OC? If Pruitt doesn't make a change he'll lose any goodwill he has left with the fan base IMO.

We were foolish for thinking Butch stank would go away in a year, especially with jabronis like Tyson Helton calling plays.
