Tennessee fans voice displeasure regarding decision to not run through the ‘T’ vs. Austin Peay

Tennessee fans have waited all offseason to watch their team run through the ‘T,’ as per tradition. However, a few thunderclaps had a different plan.
Following a brief weather delay that pushed back the start of the game, the Pride of the Southland Marching Band marched directly to the stands instead of the field. Josh Heupel simply said some words to his team on the sideline and the Vols broke the huddle just like practice.
Fans are… not too happy with the Vols’ decision not to run through the T, regardless of the delay. And crank up the conspiracy theories, because Austin Peay has started the game well and is now within Tennessee territory threatening to score.
Obviously, this thing is just getting started. Check out a few reactions from Vol Twitter (Vol X?) below:
Looks like Tennessee will not run through the T for their first home game of the season due to the delayed start. What a shame.

Going to have to wait till South Carolina to run through the T. Sad for today but the energy will be crazy when the Gamecocks come to Neyland. #Vols

No running through the T??????
Why?
— Houston Kress (@VolRumorMill) September 9, 2023
Due to late kickoff because of weather, Tennessee isn’t running through the T.
Band went directly to the stands.
So instead Josh Heupel shouted a few words in the huddle, and the players broke it down on the field — just like a regular practice. https://t.co/KXBPPR8ESQ

When was the last time Tennessee played a football game at Neyland without running through the T first?
