Tennessee had a little bit of life coming out of halftime, but all of it was erased in two plays.

Yes, the score was 42-14, but Keller Chryst led two straight TD drives to end the first half.

To start things off in the second half, however, Ty Chandler caught the kickoff at the two-yard line and he signaled for a fair catch after he caught it. Seriously.

Next, QB Keller Chryst while taking the snap under center fell in the end zone while handing the ball off to the running back. Chryst’s knee was down before he handed it off, and the play resulted in an Alabama safety. To top things off, RB Jeremy Banks picked up a 15-yard penalty, too.

Here’s the replay:

We’ve never seen back-to-back plays quite like this in a long time.

On the ensuing possession, Alabama scored on another long TD pass from Tua Tagovailoa. Alabama leads Tennessee 51-14 with just under 11 minutes left in the third quarter.
