The University of Tennessee is beginning to fill out its future schedule, and on Wednesday the school announced a home-and-home series with Pittsburgh in 2021 and 2022.

Tennessee will host the first game of the series at Neyland Stadium on Sept. 11, 2021. The following year, the Vols will travel to play  the Panthers at Heinz Field, home of the Pittsburgh Steelers, on Sept. 10, 2022.

According to Tennessee’s website, it will be the school’s first-ever game in the state of Pennsylvania, and will check off the 26th state the team has played in. Pitt, which plays in the ACC, will fulfill the SEC and NCAA mandate of scheduling Power Five opponents for Tennessee.

Tennessee and Pittsburgh have met twice before, both victories for the Panthers in Neyland Stadium. The last meeting between the two teams was in 1983, a 13-3 win for the Panthers.
