Tennessee and Alabama played the game of the year on Rocky Top on Saturday afternoon, bleeding into Saturday evening.

There were more than 1,000 total yards of offense, more than 100 points scored and some absolutely incredible performances on each side.

But, Tennessee held the ball last, Hendon Hooker did what Hendon Hooker has done all year — calmly guide the Vols to a win.

After Will Reichard missed a field goal with less than a minute left, the Vols calmly made 2 big plays — a catch by Ramel Keyton and a catch by Bru McCoy — to set up a 40-yard field goal attempt from Chase McGrath.

As you can see below, he kicked a knuckler, but it went through, and that’s all that matters. Tennessee won the game 52-49:

McGrath is now the hero, and the party is on in Knoxville! This is the first time the Vols have beaten Nick Saban at Alabama, and they’re going to live it up on Saturday night on Rocky Top.
