The Tennessee Volunteers were crushed by the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday 41-0 in one of the biggest blowouts in the series’ history.

The Bulldogs outgained the Volunteers by more than 200 yards, dominated time of possession and forced four turnovers. Georgia’s biggest win in the series came back in 1981 when it beat Tennessee 44-0 inside Sanford Stadium.

While that game was also rough for Vols’ fans, it’s been quite a while since Tennessee lost this bad at home.

Georgia’s 41-0 victory was one of the largest margins of victories ever in this series.

Tennessee will now have a chance to regroup with its bye coming in Week 6.
